All of Optikview’s medical displays conform to the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14 Grayscale Standard Display Function (Part 14-GSDF) standard. This standard ensures that the quality of medical imaging is uniform across different displays; physicians can thereby arrive at the same

diagnosis using the same medical image presented on different displays. Optikview displays also offer the choices of "multi- gamma", such as gamma 1.8, gamma 2.0, etc; different modes of operation can be enabled on different computer screens.

Professional grade medical displays must conform to the DICOM requirements in their presentation of images under different ambient light conditions. By allowing the user to choose settings based on ambient light conditions, Optikview’s medical displays meet the user’s requirement for an accurate medical display during diagnosis.

The greater the difference in brightness, the more easily the human eye can distinguish objects; on the contrary, there is a greater difficulty experienced in identifying objects with little brightness difference. The figure below shows the gray level curve measured in a dark room and in ambient light. With the curve measured in ambient light, the difference in luminance between the gray levels is compressed (decreased) due to the reflection from ambient light; this shows that ambient light has a significant influence on identification of the darker levels of gray. Regarding DICOM’s requirements for medical displays concerning ambient light, Optikview’s medical displays offer the most professional solution.

<img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-602" title="DICOM1" src="http://www.optikview.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/DICOM1.png" alt="" width="378" height="193"style="max-width:610px" />

Optikview’s medical displays contain three preset ambient light settings; they also have the corresponding three sets of lookup tables for DICOM gray level conversion stored in their memory. The user can select the setting that is closest to true ambient light conditions, thus allowing the display to use the most suitable

parameters for gray level presentation. Professional grade medical displays must conform to the DICOM requirements in their presentation of images under different ambient light conditions. By allowing the user to choose settings based on ambient light conditions, Optikview’s medical displays meet the user’s requirement for accurate display during diagnosis.

Optik View Introduces new line of medical monitors especially designed for operating room and endoscopy.

All Optikview’s medical displays have a fanless design that can reduce the accumulation of microscopic bacteria or dust inside the display, to ensure that the operating room is clean and dust- free.

Equipment used in the operating room must meet specific and rigorous health requirements. The front panel of Optikview’s display meets the specification of IPX1 enclosure design and includes anti-reflective protective glass. Not only is it waterproof and dustproof, but it can also be easily cleaned and disinfected, so that the Optikview’s display can work reliably in any medical environment.

Users can fine-tune the color settings to suit their individual perception and personal preference. The red, green, blue, yellow, magenta or cyan colors can be individually adjusted to deliver bright, sharply delineated and highly saturated colors.

All Optikview Color Medical monitors feature the multi-diagnostic mode which allows physicians to make the most precise and accurate diagnoses. The preset modes include: User Mode, DICOM Mode, Blue Light Mode (BL Mode), White Light Mode (CL mode), and Light-Box Mode.

Not only are Optikview’s displays high-performance devices possessing excellent efficiency, they also passed the 60601-1 Medical Safety Standards as well as the relevant Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Standards.
